Allusion- it’s describing something with out using the name Plot-The main parts of the story  Theme- the main plan of the story Diction- phrases in speech Syntax-put word to make a phrase  In/direct characterization- how the character tells us what it doing or it's actions  static/dynamic characters- static character tell us the story and doesn't change at all and a dynamic is a character who changes through out the story  symbolism- to used words to represent what you're talking about  synecdoche- parts to represent a whole or a little bit  metaphor- it doesn't use the words like or as to describe something  similes- uses the words like or as to describe something
